FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

How much do your lessons cost?

We only have our annual membership fee of 15 euros. By paying it you can attend as many classes as you like!

Is the annual membership fee really just 15 euros?

Yes, it is.

I filled the sign up -form for the association. When will I get the bill for the membership fee?

Depending on the timing it might take up to a month for the bill to reach you. Our board meets at least once a month and the bill will be sent only after the board has officially accepted you as a member in their meeting.

I filled the sign up -form for the association but didn’t get the bill for the membership fee yet. Can I still come to the classes?

Of course!

I would like to try out a class before becoming a member of the association, is this possible?

Yes! We have a policy of one free trial class per person.

I would like to sign up for a specific time-period which is less than the annual membership. Is this possible?

No, unfortunately, it isn’t. We have felt that 15 euros is a reasonable membership fee even if someone isn’t able to attend classes for the entire time-period. Adding other membership types would add an immoderate amount of bureaucracy to the association’s governance. We do not make exceptions to this!

The season is halfway through, can I still come to the beginner classes or should I wait for next autumn/spring?

Our beginner classes are planned so that anyone can join at any point in time! You don’t need to worry about the timing.

I have never done any sports, can I still come to your lessons?

Our beginner classes are designed to suit everyone. You might not progress as fast as former gymnasts to more advanced classes, but you’ll have no problem coming to the beginner classes!

How long are your shows?

Our shows are usually between 10 to 15 minutes and consist of 2 – 4 separate pole performances. However, this does vary quite a bit between different events and can be negotiated!

What kind of space do you need for performing?

Our stage poles need a room height of at least 3 meters. If we bring only one pole, we need 2 meters around it on each side making a 4 m x 4 m of space in total. For two poles the space needed between them is about 3 meters making the total space about 4 m x 7 m.

I want to book a private class. How is this done and how much does it cost?

You should contact our event manager! The price depends on a number of factors such as the number of participants, special requests and the length of the class. Usually, the price is between the range of 50 to 100 euros.
